Export Sales Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To grow sales volume and profitability from existing and new customers in assigned export markets.
  • To formulate and implement strategic business plans to meet and exceed the Company's sales/profit targets and customer requirements.
  • To identify new business opportunities and potential markets for bleaching earth and related adsorbent products.
  • To conduct regular market and competitor analysis to support pricing and positioning strategies.
  • To provide technical support and product recommendations to customers in coordination with the technical service team.
  • To participate in customer visits, product trials, and troubleshooting where necessary.
  • To coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, QA, and R&D) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. To provide regular comprehensive sales reports and analysis.
  • To plan, schedule and execute given tasks to ensure the assigned job is completed in time.
  • To undertake tasks as directed by the Superior and/or Management as and when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Candidates with minimum 3 years of experience in export sales are preferred.
  • Experience related to refining of edible oils / oleochemical industry, would be an added advantage.
  • Strong commercial acumen with good understanding of international trading practices, logistics, and documentation.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively with customers of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Position is to be based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
