Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and assisting in the commercial management of Mechanical & Electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed M&E quantity take-offs and cost estimates for tender submissions.
  • Review tender drawings, specifications, and project requirements to identify cost implications.
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, and project teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of tenders.
  • Analyze and evaluate subcontractor quotations, supplier pricing, and market rates.
  • Assist in preparing tender reports, bills of quantities, and commercial proposals.
  • Support the negotiation process with clients and subcontractors during tender stage.
  • Maintain a database of historical costs, materials rates, and industry benchmarks.
  • Provide input to risk assessments and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a QS in M&E projects, preferably in [building / infrastructure / industrial] sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems, methods, and materials.
  • Proficient in quantity take-off software (e.g., AutoCAD) and MS Office.
  • Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
