Quality Manager - Contract Manufacturer

Injection moulding background is mandatory. Please highlight relevant experience in your resume/cover letter.

Candidates from companies not directly manufacturing moulded products but with exposure to or understanding of injection‑moulded parts may also be considered.

Focus Areas: Total Quality Management – quality systems, new project quality, quality control, supplier quality

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QMS in line with industry standards and customer requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance system effectiveness and efficiency
  • Ensure quality standards across products and projects to meet/exceed customer expectations
  • Lead APQP process, assess risks, and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Strengthen quality control and supplier quality management systems
  • Build strong customer relationships and act as main contact for quality issues
  • Mentor and develop the quality team to enhance skills and capabilities

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related)
  • 8–10 years' experience in quality management within manufacturing (injection moulding knowledge required)
  • Strong background in quality assurance and project quality planning
  • Expertise in QMS and tools (ISO 9001, PPAP, 8D, SPC, etc.)

  • External Focus: Direct experience working with customers; able to respond maturely to quality feedback.

  • Strong client-side experience may be considered even if NPI exposure is limited.

  • Internal Focus: Proven ability to drive quality improvement, achieve quality goals, and foster cross‑departmental collaboration.
