Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's overall business objectives.
  • In charge of the full spectrum of financial accounting and reporting function (including AR / AP / Interco, Month-end close, fixed asset accounting).
  • Overseeing the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, cash flow statements and management accounts for yearly audit purpose
  • Analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to senior management
  • Managing the company's budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
  • Supervising and mentoring the finance team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Liaising with external stakeholders, such as auditors and regulatory bodies, to maintain strong relationships
  • Supporting yearly audit and tax computation processes
  • Analyzing monthly manufacturing cost and preparing monthly cost report.
  • Maintaining and updating fixed asset register, calculating and recording monthly depreciation expenses, performing periodic asset verifications & physical counts
  • Any other duties assigned by the superior from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Account, Finance or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Proficient in spoken & written English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Ms Excel, Ms Power Point and Ms Words)
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented and able to meet tight reporting deadlines.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision, under pressure and multi-tasking.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good communication skills.
