Job Description

We are seeking a
highly analytical and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Product Pricing
to support our end-to-end pricing process for
Individual Life and Accident & Health products
.

In this role, you will contribute to actuarial pricing models, profitability analysis, and pricing strategies to ensure our products remain competitive and profitable. You will also support regulatory compliance, data-driven business decisions, and product implementation across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform pricing analysis and profit testing for new/existing products using actuarial models.
  • Ensure pricing complies with internal policies, profitability benchmarks, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support the setup of actuarial pricing parameters and validate benefit illustration systems.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, IT, and distribution teams to implement new product features.
  • Respond to pricing and actuarial queries from internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to actuarial initiatives including reinsurance strategies where applicable.
  • Use data analytics to support pricing decisions across multiple distribution channels.
  • Proactively identify and manage pricing-related risks and compliance issues.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in
    Actuarial Science
    or a related field.
  • Passed or exempted from preliminary actuarial exams from a
    BNM-recognized actuarial body
    .
  • Strong understanding of actuarial principles and modeling techniques.
  • Proficient in
    Excel, VBA, Prophet
    , and at least one programming/statistical tool (e.g. SQL, SAS).
  • Prior exposure to
    reinsurance pricing or management
    is an added advantage.
