Key Responsibilities

1. Training Delivery & Facilitation

* Conduct classroom and practical-based training sessions related to aerospace manufacturing and other technical areas.

* Adapt teaching methods to suit participants' technical levels and learning styles.

* Supervise on-the-job training (OJT) and competency evaluations.

* Monitor and assess participants' progress through assessments, quizzes, and practical demonstrations.

2. Training Program Development

* Assist in designing and improving training modules, lesson plans, and learning materials in collaboration with technical departments.

* Support the development of multimedia training content (presentations, videos, manuals).

* Ensure all materials are current and aligned with aerospace technology standards and industry best practices.

* Recommend updates or enhancements to training facilities, equipment, and learning tools.

3. Technical & Equipment Management

* Manage and maintain training equipment, tools, and instructional materials used in the training centre.

* Prepare and inspect materials and tools before each session to ensure readiness and safety.

* Coordinate with the Maintenance and Operations teams for calibration, servicing, and repair of training tools.

* Maintain equipment inventory and ensure proper utilization.

5. Reporting & Administration

* Maintain accurate training records including attendance, evaluations, and assessment results.

* Assist in HRD Corp claim submissions and training documentation.

* Prepare monthly reports on training activities, participation, and outcomes.

* Support coordination of training schedules, logistics, and registration of participants.

6. Collaboration & Engagement

  • Support partnerships with institutions, government agencies (HRD Corp) and industry partners.
  • Participate in internal training audits, exhibitions, and company learning events.
  • Assist in mentoring apprentices, interns, or new trainers where required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Technology, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical fields.
  • Have experience in aerospace manufacturing, quality systems, or machining are an added advantage.
  • Minimum
    3 years of relevant experience
    in technical training, aerospace manufacturing, or engineering-related roles.
  • Practical, hands-on experience in machining, assembly, sheet metal or quality inspection is highly preferred.
  • Train-the-Trainer (TTT) HRDC Certification
    is required.
