The role

As the Sales Coordinator / Executive at Uchida MK Sdn Bhd, you will play a vital role in sales and driving the company's objectives. Based in Shah Alam, Subang Selangor, this full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional to contribute to the success of a growing organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle sales transactions, including processing orders, issuing invoices, and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and claims promptly and professionally, providing effective solutions and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Provide after-sales service, addressing any post-purchase concerns, coordinate repairs and replacements and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Actively engage with potential and existing customers, understand their needs, and offer suitable furniture solutions from our collection.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local and Japanese clients, ensure smooth communication, coordinate product availability, and resolve any issues.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, including the latest trends and features of our products, to effectively guide and advise customers.
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Malay for internal coordination, including collaborating with team members and participating in meetings.
  • Market planning, analysis, and business development.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum Diploma in Business Study, Sales and Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a sales support or coordination role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both clients and team members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to create detailed reports and presentations
  • Customer-focused mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Familiarity with sales processes and an understanding of the sales industry
  • Working experience in the furniture industry will be an added advantage.
  • Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage.
