Job Overview

We are seeking a responsible and vigilant Security Officer to safeguard our manufacturing facility and office premises. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and company assets while maintaining a secure and orderly environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the factory and office premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors are allowed entry.
  • Conduct regular patrols around the facility, including production areas, warehouses, and office buildings.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, taking appropriate action and reporting to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety and security policies.
  • To ensure attendance, time in and out for all employee is recorded, including vehicle particulars entering the premise.
  • Record and maintain daily security logs, incident reports, and visitor registers.
  • Inspect and secure doors, gates, windows, and equipment after office hours.
  • Support enforcement of safety regulations, including use of PPE and safe practices within the facility.
  • Assist in fire drills, emergency evacuations, and first-response actions.
  • Liaise with local authorities and emergency services when required.
  • To assist in receiving telephone call after office hours, on weekends and Public Holidays.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum SPM or ex-Army / Police personnel is preferable.
  • At least 1-2 years of proven experience as a Security Officer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Physically fit and able to perform patrolling duties.
  • Familiarity with security systems (CCTV, access control) is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Professional, reliable, and committed to upholding safety standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
