What you'll do
Compensation & Benefit (C&B):
- Maintain salary structures, pay scales, and compensation frameworks in line with Global's best practices.
- Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure competitiveness
- Manage employee benefits programs (medical, insurance, retirement plans, allowances).
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and company policies.
- Liaise with vendors for benefits-related services such as GTL and GHS.
- Work closely with payroll teams to ensure accurate salary processing.
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (tax, social security, EPF, SOCSO, etc.).
- Draft and update C&B policies and guidelines.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly compensation reports.
- Analyse trends and provide insights for decision-making.
Competence:
- Develop and implement competency frameworks - Create and maintain a framework that defines the skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed for different roles and the organization's overall success.
- Manage performance and development - Oversee performance management systems, conduct skill gap analyses, and manage training programs to ensure employees have the necessary competencies
. - Evaluate employees' skills, knowledge, proficiency, and behaviors, and assess their alignment with organizational values and goals
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and feedback to employees to help them develop their competencies and advance their careers.
- Collect data on employee competencies, analyze performance metrics, and report findings to leadership to inform strategic decisions.
- Actively work to improve processes, training interventions, and the overall competency management strategy to enhance business performance.
- Develop Training Needs Analysis, conduct yearly Performance Reviews and identify development plans/ actions, plan Annual Training Matrix, analyses and propose relevant training for employees to support organizational objectives.
- To coordinate with department managers and external trainers on training program required.
- Plan, facilitate and improve employees training and development program for the organization.
- Monitor training budgets in accordance with approved budget.
HRBP
- Act as a consultant and collaborate with the Head of Departments to develop and execute a people strategy that supports and drives business objectives and organization success.
