Hiring Entity: Exentec Malaysia Sdn Bhd

We are looking for an Electrical Construction Manager who is familiar with data center projects and responsible for the overall management and coordination of data center construction project. This includes ensuring project timelines, budgets, quality standards and safety procedure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large scale data center construction project and deep understanding of the unique requirements and challenges associated with this field.

Job Description
Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Able to lead project management team and solve problem
  • Monitor and inspect Electrical installation systems for projects.
  • Prepare scope of work, sub contracts, and customer proposals including Tender preparation, submission and Tender Clarification follow up.
  • Review Electrical method statement for construction activities and Safe Work Procedure for operational plant & Construction site
  • Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of installation i.e. Control System Architecture diagram, Process control Philosophy and P&IDs
  • Responsible for Electrical System interfaces with the operational plant, meetings, technical clarifications, etc
  • Review all relevant checklist for Inspection and Testing Plan on Electrical & Instrument System Installation.
  • Ensure project meets International and Local code requirements.
  • Perform Testing & Commissioning works.
  • Provide specific expertise for problem solving of Electrical issues.
  • Monitor and inspect construction to ensure compliance with design documents.
  • Coordinate with relevant client/3rd parties to ensure smooth completion of the project.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree of Electrical and electronic engineering
  • Minimum 3-5 years in a Construction Industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large scale construction projects.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by project timelines.
