Responsibilities

• Work closely with Malaysia finance team and project team to ensure timely and accurate month/quarter/year end closing
• Work with other functions to ensure internal control policies and procedures are compliant with Group policies, International Financial Accounting Standards and generally accepted internal control best practices
• Support government related reporting, to ensure timely submission and answer to queries.
• Support finance and retail operations, such as outlet stock take, bank terminal tracking, etc
• Identify improvement areas and improve on accounting best practices
• Support Australia team account receivables, prepare account receivables report and monitor outstanding invoices.
• Any ad hoc task as necessary.

Requirements:

• ·Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, VLOOKUP, data analysis skills will be an advantage)
• Proactive and willing to take initiative in daily tasks and learning
• Strong communication skills — able to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to grow in a dynamic environment
