Loan Partnership and BD Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, engage, and secure partnership agreements of all loan products with Malaysian banks and licensed money-lenders for the loan-matching platform in Malaysia.
  • Manage the end-to-end partner lifecycle: from engagement to onboarding, activation, growth, and retention.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, operations, marketing, and compliance teams to ensure seamless partner integration.
  • Set and monitor partner KPIs (loan volumes, growth, satisfaction) and deliver against targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events and maintain strong relationships with partner stakeholders.
  • Continuously map the lending ecosystem to identify opportunities and advise on strategic growth.

Candidate Profile:

  • Native in Cantonese/Mandarin, fluent in English
  • Minimum 5 years of business development or strategic partnerships experience in financial services/fintech in Malaysia (or comparable market).
  • Proven track record of closing partnerships with Malaysian banks and/or licensed money-lenders.
  • Established network of senior decision-makers in Malaysian banking/lending institutions.
  • Strong commercial and strategic thinking, with an understanding of business models and regulatory contexts.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Data-driven, with experience tracking KPIs and presenting results to senior management.
  • High integrity and compliance awareness.
