Position Overview

Lead the hotel's people operations end-to-end—supporting hiring, employee engagement, HR administration, payroll coordination, learning & development, and staff welfare—while ensuring strong compliance with Malaysian labour requirements and internal policies.

What You'll Do

  • Drive daily HR operations, including HR policies, SOPs, and internal controls
  • Manage talent lifecycle: sourcing, interviews, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and separation
  • Handle employee relations matters: misconduct cases, counselling, grievances, inquiry support, and investigations
  • Coordinate training plans, performance review cycles, and staff engagement activities
  • Maintain HR records, reports, manpower tracking, and HR documentation for audits/management reporting

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar discipline
  • At least 5 years of relevant HR experience (hospitality exposure is a plus)
  • Solid understanding of labour law compliance and practical HR implementation
  • Mature, hands-on, and people-focused with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable working on-site at Batu Ferringhi
  • Immediate availability or short notice will be an added advantage

Compensation

  • Budget ceiling:
    up to RM7,500/month
    (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
