Role Overview

The Factory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are achieved efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards. This role plays a key part in coordinating teams, optimizing workflow, and maintaining a productive and safe working environment while supporting the company's overall operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor daily production operations to ensure output meets quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
  • Ensure production schedules and targets are met on time.
  • Coordinate with production, quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor machine performance and arrange timely maintenance when required.
  • Enforce workplace safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies.
  • Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and defects.
  • Train, guide, and evaluate production staff to improve performance and discipline.
  • Prepare daily and monthly production reports for management review.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Good understanding of production planning, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM3,800.00 per month
