About the Role

To manage the Supply Chain Management function, working closely with warehouse and logistics to ensure consistent and timely delivery of finished goods to fulfill the customer order. Scope of work is including warehouse management, logistic management, supply of material with the right inventory level, capacity planning and production scheduling.

Responsibilities

• To develop a plan and execute supply chain strategies, this includes establishing schedules, monitoring inventory levels, etc.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Shipping.
• To keep track of customer order fulfillment.
• Strategic and plan to grow required supply capacity to meet revenue and technical demand by developing existing and new suppliers.
• Recruit and maintain a reliable and committed pool of Preferred Suppliers to ensure a stable supply chain of quality and capable suppliers.
• Develop, implement and manage the cross-functional, fully integrated planning process, shelf & work-in-progress inventory, and associated cost elements.
• Ensure proper procedures and internal controls are in place over physical flow and accounting of inventory in operations.
• Establish and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and processes that support inventory management including exchange units, general purchasing, and logistics management.
• Identify, develop and manage effective relationships with key and potential suppliers of goods and services to meet the established cost, quality, and delivery target, constantly evaluate, monitor, and report supplier scorecard performance via business review.
• Ensure timely communications regarding inventory levels and key performance indicators, to keep the organization informed of inventory issues and supply chain performance.
• Drive the development and implementation of material planning and purchasing strategies with our business team, identify critical success factors and ensure they are appropriately incorporated into decisions and actions.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (Others), Logistic/Transportation, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain/Logistics work or similar capacity.

Required Skills

• Familiar with supply chain business processes and able to make enhance and improve processes flow.
• With significant background in supply chain planning, has worked in 1 or more operational roles such as demand planner, planning manager, demand-supply manager in recent years.
• Strong collaboration and analytical skills.
• Robust thinking and problem-solving.
• A can-do attitude with propensity toward acting with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and public speaking skills, lead meetings, and maintain positive relationships with internal or external parties.
• An analytical mind capable for "out-of-the-box" thinking to solve problems.
• Must be willing to work in Pulau Indah, Klang.
