Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase of furniture and material to support the interior design package/ renovation project.

  • Negotiates with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost saving objectives

  • Develop and maintain a strong vendor network & database, up-to-date purchasing records as well as pricing.

  • Responsible for order tracking, expedite & close monitor on order delivery.

  • Ensure goods and materials purchased meets the specifications and requirements of the company.

  • Source the contractor and vendor/ technician for smooth and on time project handover.

  • Manage and monitor the availability of items, sub-contractor according to the project schedule.

  • Ensure proper filing and keeping of soft and hard copy of purchasing related documents

  • Study, establish, enhance and improve the existing process and procedure to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of work.

Requirements:

  • Preferable with a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Interior Design, or Quantity Surveyor.

  • Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in the Interior Design industry.

  • Good written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

  • Great organizational and planning skills.

  • The ability to follow client specifications.

  • Excellent networking and time management skills.

  • Able to read and write in Mandarin as this position required to travel and liaison with China Market.
