The Operations Manager ensures smooth daily operations across all KÖSA Coffee outlets, drives operational excellence, maintains brand standards, and supports KÖSA's rapid expansion. This role oversees staffing, training, inventory, SOP compliance, cost control, customer experience, and cross-department coordination to deliver consistent, efficient, and premium yet affordable KÖSA Coffee experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Outlet Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations for all outlets (bar flow, service quality, cleanliness, ambiance).
  • Ensure all stores follow KÖSA SOPs, recipes, quality control, and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct regular store visits, audits, and performance reviews.
  • Identify operational gaps and lead improvements.

2. Team Leadership & Staff Development

  • Manage Store Managers, Supervisors, and Frontline Teams.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling with HR.
  • Plan and execute barista training, refreshers, and upskilling programs.
  • Foster a strong KÖSA culture—collaboration, customer-first attitude, and accountability.

3. Inventory & Supply Chain Control

  • Monitor inventory accuracy, stock levels, ordering frequency, and wastage.
  • Work with Central Kitchen, Roastery, and Warehouse to ensure stable supply.
  • Track COGS and implement waste-reduction and stock-efficiency systems.

4. Customer Experience & Brand Standards

  • Ensure every outlet delivers consistent, high-quality service and product experience.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and implement improvement plans.
  • Maintain brand identity—store visuals, ambiance, menu execution, and service tone.

5. Cost, Budget & Performance Management

  • Manage operational budgets for outlets.
  • Review P&L reports, labour cost %, and productivity KPIs.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
  • Support financial forecasting and expansion planning.

6. SOP Development & Process Improvement

  • Maintain and improve SOPs for bar, kitchen, inventory, service, and training.
  • Standardize workflows across outlets to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Lead new system rollouts (Lark, POS, loyalty, automation tools).

7. Expansion & New Outlet Opening

  • Support site readiness, recruitment, training, equipment setup, and opening checklists.
  • Ensure smooth handover from project team to store operations.
  • Drive operational scalability for future KÖSA expansion.

8. Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work closely with MD, Finance, Marketing, Central Kitchen, Warehouse, HR, and R&D.
  • Ensure smooth menu launches, campaigns, and new product rollouts.
  • Support events, partnerships, and corporate initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
