About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Manager to join our team at AZMI & CO (PERAK) SDN BHD. As our Building Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our commercial properties in Ipoh, Perak. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the daily operations and maintenance of the building and its facilities.
  • Supervise maintenance, security, cleaning, and other service providers.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities are in good condition and comply with safety standards.
  • Handle tenant relations and respond promptly to complaints or maintenance requests.
  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets, expenses, and maintenance plans.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate renovation or improvement projects.
  • Prepare reports and provide recommendations for operational improvements.

What we're looking for

  • Diploma/Degree in Building Management, Property Management, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in building or property management.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of building systems (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc.) and safety procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
