Wordsmith Learning Hub Pte Ltd is a leading Tamil educational and publishing company in Singapore, empowering over 5,000 students annually through Tamil language coaching, MOE-aligned assessment books, and edtech initiatives. We are expanding our Singapore operations and are looking for a dynamic Centre Manager to lead, coordinate, and grow our centres.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in any discipline with minimum 5 years of experience in Admin / Teaching / HR / Education Management.
  • Must have studied in a Primary Tamil school and continued Tamil language studies till SPM.
  • Must be fluent in Tamil and English – both spoken and written.
  • Willing to relocate to Singapore and start work soon.
  • Must be proactive, fast learner, and able to multitask.
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and focused on achieving targets.
  • Passionate, aggressive, and hungry to grow professionally.
  • Possess own two-wheeler for travel between centres.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across all departments – Coaching, HTT, Warehouse, and Admin.
  • Handle government-related applications, course approvals, and compliance matters.
  • Manage vendor acquisition, quotation handling, and negotiation.
  • Supervise centre performance; identify strong and weak centres and propose improvements.
  • Prepare performance and operational reports for management review.
  • Train and guide new staff; lead and motivate junior and admin teams effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and parent/tutor coordination.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, packing, and stock maintenance.
  • Ensure smooth office operations – supplies, equipment, and facility maintenance.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify operational gaps.
  • Support in SOP creation and TPT (Target & Performance Tracking) across centres.
  • Travel across centres for audit, supervision, and operational support.
  • Manage events, workshops, and parent meetings.
  • Participate in education fairs, exhibitions, and branding events across Singapore, Malaysia, and Southeast Asia to promote Wordsmith's brand.
  • Maintain professional grooming, communication, and a positive team culture.
  • Handle ad-hoc duties and special projects assigned by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
