Job Description

  • Identify, evaluate, and shortlist IT suppliers, including hardware, software, cloud services, and maintenance providers.
  • Coordinate the procurement of IT equipment such as laptops, desktops, servers, network devices, and peripherals.
  • Review, manage, and track IT contracts, renewals, subscriptions, and service agreements.
  • Conduct vendor comparisons, market surveys, and price benchmarking to ensure competitive procurement.
  • Manage vendor performance, ensuring adherence to SLAs, delivery timelines, and quality standards.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive vendor database for all IT products and services.
  • Prepare and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for IT-related purchases and services.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and service-level agreements with vendors.
  • Ensure all IT procurement activities comply with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in
    Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field
    .
  • Minimum
    2–5 years of relevant experience
    in IT procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations
  • Proven experience in sourcing and negotiating with IT vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Familiarity with
    IT hardware, software, networking equipment, and licensing models
    is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of
    procurement processes, tendering procedures, and vendor management
    .
  • Proficient in
    Microsoft Office
    (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with
    ERP or e-Procurement systems
    (e.g., SAP)
  • Excellent
    negotiation, communication, and interpersonal
    skills.
  • Strong
    analytical and problem-solving
    abilities with attention to detail.
