About the role

Kumpulan Hamodal Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and driven Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team. In this contract-based role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and purchasing functions to support our construction projects in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-efficient acquisition of materials, equipment and services
  2. Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions, while maintaining strong vendor relationships
  3. Preparing and processing purchase orders, contract agreements and other procurement-related documentation
  4. Monitoring and managing supplier performance, including quality, delivery and compliance
  5. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and address procurement-related issues and opportunities
  6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date procurement records and reporting on key metrics

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within the construction industry
  2. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
  4. Proficient in the use of procurement-related software and tools
  5. Knowledgeable of relevant procurement regulations, policies and best practices
  6. Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
