Legal Assistant

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, draft, and format legal documents, agreements, letters, and court documents.
- Handle filing of legal documents with courts, land offices, and other authorities.
- Manage document control, filing systems, and ensure proper maintenance of legal files and records.
- Perform legal research and gather necessary information to assist lawyers or legal executives.
- Liaise with clients, government agencies, and third parties on legal and administrative matters.
- Monitor and follow up on case files, deadlines, and appointments.
- Assist in the preparation of correspondence, status reports, and other administrative tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of all legal and sensitive information.
- Handle general clerical duties including data entry, photocopying, scanning, and mailing.
Requirements
- SPM / Diploma / Certificate in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
- Prior experience as a Legal Clerk or in a legal firm is an advantage.
- Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
