Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical and chemical testing in compliance with SOPs, cGMPs, GLPs, and regulatory standards (FDA/DEA/OSHA).
  • Train team members, support special projects, and perform additional tasks as directed by management.
  • Carry out testing for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, including validation and stability studies.
  • Oversee and ensure completion of Method Transfer and Method Validation activities in the QC laboratory.
  • Perform laboratory analyses such as assay, content uniformity, impurity, moisture, and density tests, while operating analytical instruments.
  • Prepare and manage documentation (protocols, reports, SOPs) in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant laboratory notebooks following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
  • Review and verify lab data for adherence to SOPs, test methods, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Lead and document investigations related to laboratory incidents, OOS (Out of Specification), and OOT (Out of Trend) results.
  • Ensure equipment used for testing raw materials and finished products is properly calibrated.
  • Draft and review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and stability reports.
  • Handle and store chemical solvents safely, following PPE and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate procurement of raw materials and testing supplies, engaging with vendors as needed.
  • Provide daily updates on project progress, ensuring timely completion while maintaining ISO, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in QC role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or food manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with 5S, SOP development, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Knowledge in analytical testing and chemical stoichiometry.
  • Knowledge in gravimetric, volumetric, instrumental, and physical analysis.
