Halal Assurance

  • Ensure all products, ingredients, and processes comply with the Manual Prosedur Pensijilan Halal Malaysia (MPPHM) and Standards Malaysia (MS 1500).
  • Implement and monitor the Halal Assurance System (HAS) in compliance with JAKIM standards.
  • Coordinate Halal certification applications/ renewals, surveillance audits, and liaise with certification bodies.
  • Conduct internal Halal audits and provide training/ activities to staff on Halal practices.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with GMP, MESTI, and ISO 22000, FSSC standards across production and QC departments.
  • Review and approve batch manufacturing records (BMRs) and support product release processes.
  • Identify training needs and deliver sessions on hygiene practices, etc. and quality checks for QAQC and operators to meet quality standards.
  • Investigate customer complaints, deviations, and non-conformities, and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).

Documentation & Audits

  • Maintain and update controlled documents (SOPs, manuals, forms) with strict version control.
  • Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits (GMP, ISO, FSSC, Halal, regulatory).
  • Support Management Review Meetings and follow up on action items.

Requirement:

  • Halal Executive Certificate (CHE) by INHART/USIM/JAKIM-approved body is required.

  • At least 3- 5 years experiences in HALAL & QAQC in food manufacturing is required.
