  • Develop, implement and maintain quality control plans, inspection procedures and work instructions.
  • Perform in-process and final product inspections based on engineering drawings, specifications and control plans.
  • Oversee the management and calibration of measurement and test equipment.
  • Maintain and control quality records and certifications as per the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of the QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 or other relevant standards.
  • Prepare for and participate in internal, customer and third-party audits.
  • Coordinate with HQ quality team to ensure local processes align with global corporate standards.
  • Conduct audits of internal processes and suppliers as required.
  • Serve as the key quality person in charge between Malaysia plant and HQ Quality/ Engineering teams in Taiwan.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Procurement teams to resolve the quality issues at source.
  • Communicate quality performance metrics, major issues and improvement project statuses to management in Malaysia and Taiwan.
  • Facilitate the transfer of new products and processes from Taiwan HQ ensuring quality standards are met from launch.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar quality role, preferably manufacturing industry
  • At least Diploma/ Degree related to Quality
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment with tight deadlines and willing to learn new skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, Malay and Mandarin. We are seeking candidate proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin speaking colleagues in Malaysia and Taiwan.
