This role is pivotal in growing market share, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution of sales programs for cable products. You will also play a key role in guiding and motivating a dynamic sales team to achieve ambitious targets.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire the regional sales team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with customers, prospects, and authorized agents.
  • Provide technical advice and support to clients on product applications and solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and insights for senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Drive pricing strategies and ensure compliance with approved pricing profiles.
  • Oversee credit control and collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Participate in strategic planning with senior leadership to shape the division's future direction.

The Successful Applicant

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10-12 years of proven experience in sales and marketing within the cable or electrical industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Highly organized with strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and drive a high-performance culture.
