Duties and responsibilities:

MARKETING, SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE –

To lead and manage the marketing, sales and customer service functions and staff with a view to fulfilling and achieving targeted revenue and profit goals of the Company.

Among other things, the Manager is required to:

  • To design and present the annual marketing and sales plans, strategies and budget.
  • To set up and track KPIs for the marketing and sales teams and to ensure effective implementation of plans and marketing and sales campaigns.
  • To attend exhibitions and other promotional events and campaigns.
  • To conduct market research and surveys, identify market needs, new market opportunities, and monitor industry developments.
  • To ensure effective brand management including awareness and positive perceptions of the Company's brand.
  • To contribute to product and business development initiatives to enhance the Company's product range To present reports on a regular and timely basis.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of ten years' experience in international marketing with at least five years in a senior management position on operations and international marketing in a manufacturing organisation.
  • A degree in marketing or related fields.
  • An MBA in marketing or business would be an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrable record of successful marketing and business development initiatives
  • Ability to use technology and digital and social media to assist in the marketing process
