We are looking for an experienced Business Advisor/Consultant to join our team for a 6-month project based in Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a deep background in agribusiness, manufacturing, and service industries, with the ability to deliver strategic insights, operational improvements, and growth strategies within a defined timeframe.

Project Duration: 6 months

Location: Pulau Pinang, Malaysia (On-site)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Business Planning: Develop actionable strategies for growth, market positioning, and competitive advantage in the agribusiness and manufacturing sectors.
  2. Operational Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
  3. Market & Industry Analysis: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify emerging trends to advise on potential new business opportunities.
  4. Financial Strategy: Support financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting to improve profitability and investment readiness.
  5. Supply Chain & Risk Management: Provide recommendations for optimizing supply chains, reducing risk exposure, and enhancing sustainability practices.
  6. Project Management: Lead strategic initiatives from concept to implementation, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met within the project timeline.

Ideal Candidate:

  1. 5+ years of experience in business consulting or advisory roles within agribusiness, manufacturing, or service industries.
  2. Expertise in strategic planning, business growth strategies, and operational improvements.
  3. Strong knowledge of supply chain management, financial analysis, and change management.
  4. Experience working with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives.
  5. Proven track record of advising on sustainability, ESG, or risk management initiatives in the agribusiness or manufacturing sectors.
  6. Ability to work on-site in Pulau Pinang and manage a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Additional Details:

On-Site Requirement: This project will require a physical presence in Pulau Pinang.

Project Focus: Specific focus will be on operational efficiency, strategic market expansion, and sustainable growth for businesses in the agribusiness and manufacturing sectors.
