Sales Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE
Provide assistance to the customers and visitors to the Gift Shop and maintain the merchandise level and arrangement on the sales floor effectively and efficiently with the objective of generating revenue for the Gift Shop.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
(1) Perform day to day operational tasks at retail outlets to ensure smooth operations of the retail outlets.
Store Cleanliness: Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales area.
(2) Provide excellent service and assistance by providing recommendation and merchandise information to the customers in order to maximize sales revenue, increase the value of each transaction and to leave a lasting impression in the customers' mind.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, assisting shoppers, answering inquiries, and addressing their needs and concerns.
Customer Engagement: Maintain a focus on providing exceptional customer service, address customer inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns.
(3) Display merchandise attractively and effectively according to set guidelines in order to make the shop an attractive and conducive environment for the visitors/customers, thus making it worth it for them to spend on merchandise offered in the shop.
Visual Merchandising Support: Collaborate with the Executive Operation Store in maintaining visually appealing product displays in the store.
(4) Maintain optimum level of inventory and merchandise mix by constantly monitoring stock level in the sales area, doing repeat order and maintaining good relationship with supplier in order to have sufficient inventory and ensuring no out of stock situation.
Inventory Monitoring: Observe stock levels and report any low or depleted inventory to the Storekeeper Supervisor.
(5) Handle and operate POS system by strict adherence to the company's policies and procedures in order to maintain 100% safe and accurate cash management.
Point of Sale (POS) Operation: Efficiently process customer transactions, including cash, e-wallet and credit card payments.
(6) Handle Internal & External backcharge customers by attending to requests and assisting them with the selection of merchandise in order for them to have smooth event preparation and for the ordered merchandise to be delivered on schedule.
(7) Online Sale- proposal of items, monitoring sale order from online-store (website) & process of postage.
(8) Event & Promotion: Provide support and assistance in carrying out retail activities such as outside sale (event sale)
(9) Sales Goals: Implemented the retail strategy plan and to Work toward achieving sales targets set by the company.
(10) Cross-functional Communication: Communicate effectively with the Shop Manager, Supervisor, and Storekeeper to ensure coordinated operations. Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager/Superior.
Team Collaboration: Work in harmony with other Sales Assistants and under the guidance of the Supervisor.
(11) Product Knowledge: Be well-versed in product information, including features, benefits, and pricing. Stay up-to-date with new products/services.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
-SPM.
-Minimum 1 year retail experience.
-Good communication in English.
