managing an organization's day-to-day financial operations, including processing invoices, tracking expenses, and reconciling accounts. This role also includes handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring financial records are accurate and compliant with regulations, and preparing financial reports and statements. Key responsibilities
- Manage daily transactions: Process accounts payable and receivable, handle invoices, and record payments and refunds.
- Track financial data: Monitor and track all business expenses and reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions and reporting comply with company policies and financial regulations.
- Prepare financial reports: Assist with preparing monthly account summaries, ledger balances, and other financial reports.
- Support internal and external inquiries: Serve as a point of contact for financial inquiries from clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with budgeting and audits: Help with budget preparation and monitoring, and provide support during financial audits.
- Handle payroll: In some cases, may be responsible for managing the company's monthly payroll.
Required skills and qualifications
- Attention to detail and accuracy: High level of accuracy is crucial for handling financial data.
- Data processing: Proficient in fast and accurate data entry and computer applications.
- Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and share information.
- Problem-solving: Ability to analyze and integrate data from various sources and take initiative.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables and charts.
