Claims Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Claims Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or individuals seeking to start their career in the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities :-
- Receive, verify, and organize incoming claims documentation.
- Review claim forms and supporting materials to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain well-structured electronic and physical filing systems for efficient record retrieval.
- Liaise with insurers, and internal teams to obtain additional information or resolve discrepancies.
- Update and maintain claims databases, and assist in the preparation of periodic reports for management review.
- Perform general administrative and clerical tasks related to claims operations.
- Familiarity with the Merimen system or similar claims management platforms will be an added advantage.
Requirements :-
- Possess a minimum SPM/ Diploma qualification or equivalent in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and time management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willing to work on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Weekday rest day(s) will be provided accordingly.
