About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team at SKINLAB BIOCHEM RESOURCES (M) SDN. BHD. based in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee development, and HR compliance.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies and policies to support the company's overall business objectives.
  2. Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, employee payroll and employee relations.
  3. Ensure compliance with relevant employment labor laws and regulations.
  4. Administer employee benefits and compensation programs.
  5. Collaborate with departmental leaders to identify and address HR-related challenges.
  6. Promote a positive and inclusive work culture.
  7. Provide HR-related coaching and support to managers and employees.
  8. Analyze HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a HR management role, preferably within the consulting or generalist HR industry
  3. Thorough understanding of Malaysian employment laws and best HR practices
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  6. Proficient in HR information systems and data analysis
  7. A strategic mindset and the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives
  8. We prefer candidates who are proficient in Chinese, as this skill will be an advantage when communicating with our clients and partners.
