About the role

Become the Restaurant Manager for Jun Cuisine Enterprise Sdn Bhd' in Ipoh, Perak. This is a full-time position that will see you leading the operations and management of our acclaimed restaurant. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the establishment, driving sales, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee and direct the daily operations of the restaurant, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service
  2. Manage and train service and kitchen teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
  3. Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure menu quality, portion control, meeting food cost targets, motivate a team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  4. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and legal regulations
  6. Liaise with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns and events
  7. Collaborate with the Head Chef to maintain high-quality food and beverage offerings
  8. Handle customer complaints and feedback, and implement resolutions to address them

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar restaurant management role
  2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, staff, and stakeholders
  4. Thorough understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, menu planning, and quality assurance
  5. Proven track record of driving sales and improving operational efficiency
  6. Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
