RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee day to day operations and ensure operation run smoothly
  • Monitor inventory control for the store keeping, stock replenish, stock expiring, stock return, display and etc.
  • Undertake all other duties, tasks and responsibilities as required by the management.

Receiving and Inspecting Goods

  • Receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents and checking for damages or discrepancies
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks on incoming materials and products to identify any defects or non-conformities
  • Recording received items and updating inventory systems.

Storage and Organization

  • Properly storing and organizing goods in the store according to a system or layout
  • Ensuring that items are labelled and categorized correctly for easy retrieval.

Order Picking and Packing

  • Picking items from designated locations in the store based on order requirements
  • Packing items securely and preparing for shipment

Inventory Management

  • Conducting regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve inbound receiving processes, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Quality Control

  • Inspecting goods for quality and ensuring that meet specified standards
  • Reporting and addressing any quality issues or defects

Safety and Maintenance

  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the store
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on store equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Documentation and Record Keeping

  • Maintaining records of inventory, shipments and other store related activities
  • Assist in reports and documentations
  • Documenting any incidents or discrepancies and reporting to management from time to time

Communication

  • Coordinate with logistics partners to arrange transportation, warehousing and distribution of goods
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers and internal stakeholders to coordinate inbound shipments and resolve any issues or delays
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals and objectives
  • Communicating any issues or concerns related to store operations

Compliance

  • Adhering to safety regulations, company policies and industry standards
  • Ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations, including those related to hazardous materials and transportation

Equipment Operation

  • Operating store equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks and conveyor systems, safely and efficiently

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration and supply chain management or in related field is preferable
  • With experience on import processes, order processing or similar roles
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling data entry and record keeping
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and inventory management applications
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues efficiently
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
  • Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Malays (both spoken and written); additional local dialects would be an advantages
  • Must be able to work on weekend/public holidays
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
