About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operator to join our dynamic team at Sumimetal Industries (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Melaka Tengah, Melaka. As a full-time Operator, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, contributing to the overall success of the company.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality output
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to maintain optimal performance
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities
  • Assist with material handling and logistics as required

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role
  • Strong technical aptitude and mechanical skills to operate and maintain production equipment
  • Ability to follow instructions, read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
