Position Overview:
 We are seeking experienced and dedicated Senior Application Service Engineers to join our team at the Aventra Managed Services Operations Center. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing advanced technical support for custom-built applications developed using .Net, OutSystems low-code and JAVA technologies. This role requires proactive individuals with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support for custom-built applications developed using .Net, OutSystems and JAVA.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve application-related problems and implement solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates to applications as required.
  • Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Document and track issues, resolutions, and changes in the support system.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support coverage.
  • Mentor and guide junior application support engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Senior Engineers:
    4 to 6 years of experience in application support, particularly with .Net and JAVA fullstack technologies.
  • Engineers
    : 1 to 3 years of experience in application support, particularly with .Net and JAVA fullstack technologies. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Good experience in performing troubleshooting incidents related to front and backend applications, databases, and integration on Azure and AWS platforms.
  • Experience with OutSystems platform.
  • Experience with database management and SQL.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and services.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and performance analysis.
