Our client ABSOLUTE NEXUS SDN. BHD. is seeking a Project Assistant / Project Coordinator - Construction to join their team

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about construction and project management. You will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to exciting projects and developing your skills in a supportive environment.

What you'll be doing?
  • Create schedules: Develop project reverse schedules, Gantt Charts, and timelines to keep projects on track.
  • Track progress: Monitor materials, construction, and inspections to ensure timely completion.
  • Budget control: Update Actual vs Budget reports to manage project finances effectively.
  • Organize documents: Manage BOQ, drawings, VO, PO, DO, and invoices to ensure all project documentation is in order.
  • Prepare reports: Generate weekly project reports, progress schedules, and cost summaries to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Follow up: Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and design teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Collect site information: Gather site information and photo documentation to support project needs.
Who are they looking for?
  • Proficient in Excel: Ability to use VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, and Conditional Formatting is essential for this role.
  • Technical drawings: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including M&E, ceiling, lighting, and basic structure.
  • Organize documents: Able to organize bill of quantities (BOQ), variation Order (VO), purchase order (PO), DO, and invoices
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in handling projects and quantity surveying within the construction field, with experience in handling budget control and budget reporting.
  • Language skills: Proficiency in Mandarin and English is necessary for communication with team members and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail: Ability to track progress effectively and ensure accuracy in all project-related tasks.
