Sunton Railway Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking to hire a Bid/Sales Specialist focused on railway and related products (such as rails, fasteners, turnouts, wheels, and axles). The core responsibility of this role is to support the company's registration and bidding processes with state-owned clients in Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Vendor Qualification Registration and Management on Bidding Platforms:
o Independently research the qualified vendor registration processes and requirements of target clients.
o Fully handle the application and acquisition of all necessary qualifications, licenses, ISO certifications, etc., to ensure successful company registration and bidding eligibility.
• Bid Document Preparation and Management:
o Analyze tender documents, clarify bidding requirements, and collaborate with overseas colleagues to collect and organize product quotations and technical information.
o Independently prepare and review bid documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with tender requirements.
o Strictly adhere to bidding timelines, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, and work overtime when necessary to ensure timely submission.
• Communication and Coordination:
o Conduct clear and effective daily communication and coordination with overseas teams in English to ensure all necessary information and resources for bidding are in place.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Minimum of 1 years of work experience in any industry (no specific field experience required).
• Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative, and the ability to independently research and learn new knowledge.
• Proficient in written and verbal English for work communication (Chinese is not mandatory but preferred).
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office and other office software.
• Adaptable to the pace of bidding work, willing to work overtime when necessary, and flexible in handling other ad-hoc tasks.
