Expatriate Document Officer

Job Description (JD)
The Expatriate Officer is responsible for handling and managing expatriate-related immigration matters, ensuring full compliance with Malaysian immigration laws and regulations. This role focuses on Employment Pass (EP), Professional Visit Pass (PVP), and related applications, renewals, and canc1ellations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end processing of expatriate applications, including:
- Employment Pass (EP)
- Professional Visit Pass (PVP)
- Dependant Pass (DP) and Social Visit Pass (SVP), where applicable
- Prepare, review, and submit applications through IRDA/ESD / MYXpats / Immigration systems.
- Liaise with relevant authorities such as Immigration Department, MYXpats Centre, ESD or IRDA, and other government bodies.
- Coordinate with clients, employers, and expatriates to collect accurate documents and information.
- Track application status, follow up on approvals, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
- Advise clients on immigration requirements, timelines, and compliance matters.
- Ensure all applications comply with current immigration laws, policies, and company SOPs.
- Maintain proper records, documentation, and reporting for all expatriate cases.
- Handle urgent or complex cases professionally and efficiently.
- Stay updated on changes to immigration rules, policies, and procedures.
Job Requirements (JR)
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in handling expatriate applications, specifically EP and PVP.
- Proven experience dealing with:
- ESD / MYXpats system / Irda System
- Malaysian Immigration procedures
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian immigration laws, regulations, and processes.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in English (Mandarin is an added advantage).
- Strong coordination and client-handling skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Well-organised, responsible, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in recruitment agencies, HR consulting firms, or immigration service providers is an added advantage.
- Familiar with documentation requirements for multinational companies and foreign professionals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3, RM5,500.00 per month
