We are looking for a passionate and driven Manufacturing Engineer to join an innovative engineering team. This role plays a key part in setting up production lines, optimising processes, and ensuring high-quality and efficient manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities :

Production Line Setup & Process Engineering

  • Establish and commission new production lines
  • Optimise layout, workflow, and process requirements
  • Maintain and update process documents (FC, PFMEA, WI, etc.)
  • Analyse production performance and optimise working methods
  • Conduct root cause analysis for process, quality, and equipment issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on corrective actions
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp-up

Process Optimisation & Continuous Improvement

  • Eliminate bottlenecks and reduce cycle time
  • Improve manpower utilisation and production flow
  • Drive initiatives to reduce cost, increase capacity, and enhance quality

Equipment & Tooling Support

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimise downtime
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Develop maintenance procedures and documentation
  • Design tooling and fixtures to support efficient production
  • Manage spare parts localisation and optimisation

Operational Coordination

  • Monitor production processes for stability and efficiency
  • Resolve facility or infrastructure issues affecting manufacturing
  • Lead corrective and preventive actions for production abnormalities

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, equipment maintenance, automation, or related industries
  • Strong understanding of process engineering and production operations
  • Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance support, and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems or PLC controls is an added advantage
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on, analytical, and detail-oriented
