Primary Purpose: Ensure financial stability, profitability, and sound management of financial resources and processes within LCSB to support strategic goals and sustainable growth. The role will be based at the Sabah office in Kota Kinabalu.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective cash flow management by overseeing financial resources and investments so that liquidity and business operations are maintained.
  • Ensure comprehensive financial reporting by preparing detailed financial statements and management reports so that stakeholders have an accurate understanding of the company's financial position.
  • Ensure expense control by monitoring and evaluating expenditure so that financial efficiency and budget adherence are maintained.
  • Ensure risk mitigation by managing investments and assessing financial risks so that potential negative impacts on the business are minimised.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by ensuring all financial activities adhere to industry regulations and internal policies so that legal and ethical standards are upheld.
  • Ensure strategic financial insights by analysing and reporting on the financial performance of number forecasting operations so that informed decisions can be made for future growth.
  • Ensure the support of financial audits by collaborating with internal and external auditors so that transparent and accurate financial practices are demonstrated.
  • Ensure strong leadership within the finance team by mentoring and guiding staff so that a high-performing and motivated team is developed.
  • Ensure support for company initiatives by participating in and executing additional tasks and strategic projects assigned by the organisation so that overall business objectives are met and flexibility in leadership is maintained.

Deliverables:

  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Cash flow management and budget performance reports.
  • Expense and cost-control analyses.
  • Investment and financial risk assessment reports.
  • Compliance reports for financial regulations.
  • Performance reports on number forecasting financial operations.
  • Audit support documentation.
  • Training and development plans for finance team members.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or ACCA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, strategic planning, and risk management.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
