Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Sabah's account and finance team

  • Report to Finance Manager / CFO at HQ, KL

  • Develop internal controls and SOPs of Sabah branch to safeguard company assets

  • Responsible for full set of accounts which includes Account Payables (AP), Account Receivables (AR), General Ledger (GL), balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and month-end/year-end closing

  • Review and process AP invoice payments to vendors and suppliers in accordance with the granted credit terms and limits

  • Perform month-end reconciliation to ensure there is no unbilled cost

  • Cash flow monitoring and budgeting

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness delivery of all financial and management reports

  • Working closely with relevant departments/ business units to resolve issues

  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned or directed by Finance Manager / CFO at HQ, KL

  • Work independently with minimal supervision
