Assistant Manager - Maintenance

ECHO RESORTS – Kota Kinabalu

Job Description

Responsibilities :

Responsible for all planning, training, directing, controlling, coordinating and participating in all Maintenance activities.

Preparing and implementing plan preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance to all Mechanical and Electrical Systems for the entire Resort

Introduce system in cost reduction, work simplification methods, techniques, improvement programs, energy conversation and any other engineering projects.

Involvement in negotiations, pre-planning exercises to projects and give technical supports to resort projects undertaken by Resort Management.

Direct supervision to Resort engineering activities such as:

Installing, maintaining, repairing and operating, hotel machinery, equipment and related system.

Receiving, storing, issuing and controlling engineering materials and supplies.

Supervising and advising fabrication and installation works to new constructional activities.

Ensure building safety and implement necessary measures and recommendation to superior for follow up action.

Job Qualifications:

* Graduate professional certification Degree or equal to the tasks requirement.

* Experience in a large facility company with at least 2 years experience of managing team

* Experience in general maintainance technique with electrical, generator, plumping,

sewage, treatment plant, carpentry and machinery.

* Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use Microsoft Office, email, and the

internet

* Demonstrated leadership abilities

* Ability to motivate and train staff

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to multitask, prioritize, problem-solve, and manage time

* Proficient skills in operating various hand tools and power equipment

* Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing, electrical, construction, pool, and grounds

maintenance

* Ability to respond to resort needs during non-business hours

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From RM 4000 per month
