The PE NextGen Talent Programme is an 8-month structured development journey that prepares emerging engineers and construction professionals with the technical expertise, leadership mindset and on-site exposure needed to excel in today's fast-evolving built environment.

Throughout the programme, you will work alongside experienced mentors, contribute to impactful infrastructure and building projects and develop the agility to tackle real-world challenges.

Job Description:

  • Assists Construction Manager to coordinate and supervise the construction works, prepare for inspections, and meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental regulations at construction site.
  • Review construction documents: drawings specifications, method statements inspection and test plans, and implement them on site.
  • Plan and implement temporary works.
  • Assists in confirming sample/catalogue submissions and all instructions, i.e. Architect's instructions and/or Engineer's instructions.
  • Assist with preparation and compilation of specification, technical reports and other related designs documents in accordance with the project requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Malaysian graduates — priority consideration for Sarawakian talents.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum CGPA 3.2 / Second Class Upper / WAM 70% and above.
  • Strong critical-thinking ability with the capacity to translate ideas into practical, real-world solutions.
  • Adaptable, resilient and eager to learn through practical and site experience in construction environment.
  • Confident communicator and collaborative team player in dynamic, multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership and initiative, reflected through academic achievements, internships or community involvement.
  • Accountable and committed to integrity, professionalism and delivering results.
