Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a proficient Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team focused on eKYC (electronic Know Your Customer) and customized AI solutions. As a pivotal member of our software development team, you will define test strategies, create comprehensive test plans, and execute various types of tests to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. Job Responsibilities

1. Test Strategy and Planning:

2. Define test strategies and test plans based on requirements and design documentation, ensuring complete coverage and requirement traceability.

3. Create test cases to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications across different platforms and environments.

2. System Testing and Performance Evaluation:

• Perform system integration tests to verify interactions between subsystems, system qualification tests to validate end-to-end functionality, and load and performance tests to ensure system scalability and reliability.

• Conduct tests in staging environments or customer sites, ensuring that the system meets specified requirements and is free from errors.

• Issue Investigation and Reporting:

• Investigate issues by analyzing logs during test execution, report incidents through configuration management tools, and monitor them until closure.

• Produce documents related to testing, including test reports and release notes, to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.

• Technical Support and Automation:

• Provide technical support to other teams, assisting with internal system malfunctions and troubleshooting issues encountered during testing.

• Automate tests to make them reusable, enhancing testing efficiency and enabling continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

5. Continuous Learning and Improvement:

• Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and advancements, persistently enhancing the team's testing process, methodologies, and efficiency.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, advocating for the adoption of best practices and innovative testing techniques within the team.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on backend testing and full stack application testing.
• Proficiency in test planning, execution, defect tracking, and product release activities across the entire software development lifecycle.
• Experience creating and executing detailed test plans and test cases for frontend, backend, and data applications, as well as data platforms and pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar, for automating frontend and backend tests.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prevent, report, analyze, and track issues effectively and efficiently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional team members to deliver high-quality products.
• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Nice-to-Have

• Certification in software testing or related qualifications.
• Experience testing applications with AI components or machine learning algorithms.
• Experience with software testing in cloud environments and familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, etc.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
• Knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes or other virtual container technology
• Experience with Linux architecture and familiar with Linux command.
