Job Description: Senior HR Executive, Kuala Lumpur Site

We are looking for a Senior HR Executive who will help us manage local contract management, SEA Region mobility, and oversee HR operations for our Kuala Lumpur site.

This role will ensure compliance with labor laws, manage relationships with third-party agencies, and provide strategic counsel to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Focus primarily on HR operations; recruitment is not included.

  1. HR Operations Management
    : Lead full-cycle HR operations for KL site, covering onboarding, offboarding, payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management; ensure all processes are accurate, timely, and aligned with company policies.
  2. Contract & Workforce Governance
    : Manage local employee contract lifecycle (drafting, review, renewal, termination) and support strategic workforce planning for KL site to align with business expansion goals.
  3. Regional Labor Mobility & Compliance
    : Execute regional mobility strategies (e.g., cross-border transfers, expatriate arrangements) and ensure full compliance with Malaysian immigration regulations (work visas, permits) and labor laws.
  4. Data & Record Management
    : Maintain accurate employee records and ensure strict adherence to data protection regulations (e.g., PDPA Malaysia).
  5. Strategic HR Partnership
    : Act as a key HR partner for KL site departments, provide HR advice on employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness; collaborate with global HR team to drive organizational impact.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or higher degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field;
  2. At least 3-4 years in an HR Operation role.
  3. Expert knowledge of Malaysian work visa processes and immigration regulations;
  4. Solid understanding of Malaysian Labour Law in a corporate context;
  5. Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
  6. Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is a plus.
  7. A good understanding or direct experience in the BPO/AI annotation Industry is preferred.
