They are seeking a great talent to fill the role of
Quality Assurance Inspector
to be apart of our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and this role will play a critical role in upholding the company's ISO 9001 quality standards. You will oversee inspection processes, support production staff in achieving quality targets, and ensure all products meet the highest standards before reaching customers.

ASW Global operates on a Hybrid model. This role requires you to work 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, with a regular shift schedule of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM KL time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections on inwards goods, sub-contracted work, in-process and final products.
  • Provide expertise to production staff on measurement procedures, quality documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and improve inspection systems, ensuring all measuring and test equipment is calibrated and accurate.
  • Record and report on non-conformances, recommending corrective actions and rework instructions where necessary.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by developing more efficient inspection techniques.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 -7 years' proven experience in a Quality Assurance / Quality Control role within engineering or manufacturing space.
  • Trade Certificate or recognised engineering inspection qualification (essential).
  • Mechanical Engineering background with strong understanding of engineering and mathematical principles.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical measuring equipment.
  • High level of computer literacy, particularly MS Teams, MS Office Suite, and related systems.
  • Experience in using SAP 4 would be an added advantage.
