Lecturers in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH)

As a Lecturer in the Diploma in OSH programme, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and evidence-based lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions aligned with the programme curriculum.
  • Supervise students during attachment in organizations.
  • Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development.
  • Develop teaching materials, learning resources, and assessments in compliance with MQA standards.
  • Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and programme review.
  • Conduct and supervise student research projects and contribute to academic publications.
  • Engage in departmental meetings, quality assurance activities, and staff development programmes.
  • Promote student engagement through extracurricular and community outreach initiatives.
  • Maintain strong industry networks to enhance graduate employability and technical relevance.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in the related field (Occupational Safety & Health, etc) with;

  • a minimum of 3 years of working experience OR equivalent in related fields; OR

  • The candidate must be a certified DOSH Competent Person

OR

  • A Diploma in the relevant field with 6 years of relevant industrial experience at the supervisory level in the relevant discipline of the subject taught; OR

  • The candidate must be a certified DOSH Competent Person
