Security Officer

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive
Security Officer
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing effective security systems and protocols to safeguard the organization's assets, networks, and data.

Responsibilities

  1. Security Monitoring: Monitor security workforce performance, systems and alerts to detect and respond to potential security incidents and threats.
  2. Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  3. Security Tools Management: Deploy, configure and maintain security tools and technologies.
  4. Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  5. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of security records, processes and configurations.
  6. Collaboration: Align to Global Security organizations security metrics. security solutions, patch standards and security scanning tools. Work closely with IT and engineering teams to ensure security is integrates into all aspects of the organization's technology environment.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and trends, recommend enhancements to improve the organization's security posture.
  8. Any other duties when deemed necessary. Completing projects on various issues when needed.

Qualifications

  • Preferably a Bachelor's degree in information security management or cybersecurity related field.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, including team leadership.
  • Proven experience working with security technologies, hardware & software.
  • Strong background in standardization, systems integration & cybersecurity protocol & frameworks.
  • Understanding in security aspect and patch processes of major operating systems are essential to the role.
  • Must possesses analytical skills in assessing endpoint security compliance and quick respond to meeting compliance requirements.
  • Engage with customers in a positive and proactive manner, building strong relationships and ensuring their success with our products.
  • Experience with NPI security project or confidential product handling is highly preferred.
