Construction SME

We are currently based at KL Eco City, Malaysia.
Key Accountabilities

Process and Policy Development Work processes, policies, procedures, and rules are clearly defined, developed, and continuously improved, resulting in enhanced product quality, productivity, and safety.

Project Data & Deliverable Assurance Accurate and reliable data and information are maintained across all projects, supporting informed decision-making and project success. Project deliverables are thoroughly validated to ensure compliance with established standards and requirements.

Issue Resolution & Risk Mitigation Project and after-sales issues within the SME's area of expertise are resolved efficiently in coordination with relevant department leads, minimizing project disruptions. Technical input and direction are provided to effectively mitigate construction-related issues and risks, supporting successful project outcomes.

Project Review & Assessment Active participation in CIC project reviews and assessments, providing expert input and recommendations for project improvement.

Documentation & Training Project documentation and training programs are developed, standardized, and maintained, supporting consistent knowledge transfer and competency development. Project employees and clients receive effective coaching and training as needed, enhancing team capability and performance.

Feedback & Communication Timely and constructive feedback and updates are provided to project teams during the creation, testing, and rollout of deliverables, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Lessons Learned & Continuous Improvement The Lessons Learned (LL) database is maintained and updated for each subject area, facilitating continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Continuous improvement initiatives are led within the subject area, serving as the focal point for the respective engineering section or group and driving operational excellence.

Engineering and Design Improvement Suggestions Engineering and Design Improvement Suggestions Considering Constructability. Proactively provide engineering and design improvement suggestions to enhance constructability, reduce risks, and optimize project execution, ensuring designs are practical and efficient for construction.

Qualifications

  • Trade Certification or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum of 20 years' experience in EPC of onshore/offshore Oil & Gas or FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) projects.
  • Proven track record in site construction execution, including at least two FPSO projects involving module fabrication and integration of marine and topside modules.
  • Experience working in a multicultural and multidisciplinary project environment.
